Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026Shalom Bayit Brotherhood ("SBB", "we", "us") is a private brotherhood of married Jewish men, based in Israel, with members in Israel, North America and elsewhere. Our Code puts it simply: your privacy, your wife's privacy, and your family's privacy are protected by every man here. This policy explains how that applies to the personal information we handle, starting with this website.
Questions or requests about your information: info@sbbrotherhood.com.
What we collect on this website
When you apply through the application form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your WhatsApp number
That's it. We don't ask for details about your marriage or your family on this website. This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To review your application and contact you personally about it.
- If you join, to run the program: placing you in a squad of men at your stage of marriage, adding you to the SBB WhatsApp groups, and sending you seminar and call details.
- To send you occasional SBB announcements. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Services we use
We rely on a small number of service providers who handle information on our behalf:
- Formspree receives application form submissions and emails them to us.
- Netlify hosts this website and processes basic technical data (such as IP address) needed to serve it.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site; your browser requests them from Google.
- Microsoft 365 handles our email.
- WhatsApp and Zoom are used to run the program for members.
Each provider has its own privacy terms. Some are based outside Israel, so your information may be processed in other countries, including the United States.
Inside the Brotherhood
If you become a member, some information is visible to other members by design: your name and phone number are visible in your squad and in the Brotherhood WhatsApp group, and other men will hear what you choose to share on calls and in check-ins.
Every member agrees to the SBB Code, which says: what's in SBB stays in SBB. No screenshots, no forwarding, no repeating what another man said, who he is, or anything about his wife or family. Recordings of calls and seminars are for members only. We take breaches seriously, and breaking confidentiality is grounds for immediate removal. We can't guarantee that every person will always honor that commitment, but it is a condition of membership.
The one exception in the Code: if someone is believed to be in immediate danger, members may bring it to the leadership team. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep application details while we consider your application and, if you join, for as long as you're a member. If you don't join, or you leave, we delete or anonymize your details within a reasonable time unless we need to keep something for a legal reason. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@sbbrotherhood.com and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and nothing in this policy takes those away.
Age
SBB is for married men aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to applications is limited to the people who run SBB. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and we'll tell members about material changes.
